What cookies are

Cookies are small text files saved by your browser when you visit a website. They let the site recognise you between visits, for example, to keep you signed in. Some cookies are essential to make a site work; others are used for analytics or advertising.

Cookies we use

WebNoms keeps cookies to the minimum needed to run the service. We use advertising cookies only if you accept them on the cookie banner. We don’t sell data.

Strictly necessary

  • Session cookie (set by NextAuth), keeps you signed in to your dashboard. Expires when you sign out, or after a period of inactivity.
  • CSRF token, protects you against cross-site request forgery on forms. Expires with your session.
  • Cookie-consent record, remembers the choice you made on the cookie banner so we don’t show it again. Kept in your browser for six months, then we ask again.

Analytics

We don’t use analytics cookies. Our web analytics provider is cookieless. If we add an analytics tool in future, we’ll update this list and refresh the cookie banner.

Advertising

Set only if you press Accept all on the cookie banner. None of these are set if you press Reject all. These cookies record which of our adverts you clicked, so we can see which adverts bring people here. They also let Google and Meta show our adverts to people who have visited this site. We don’t show adverts on this site.

  • _gcl_au, _gcl_aw (Google Ads). Record that you arrived from one of our Google adverts so a sign-up can be matched to it. Set by webnoms.com. Expire after 90 days.
  • IDE (Google, doubleclick.net). Used by Google to show and measure adverts across websites. Expires after 13 months.
  • _fbp, _fbc (Meta). Recognise your browser and the Meta advert you clicked so a sign-up can be matched to it. Set by webnoms.com. Expire after 90 days.
  • fr (Meta, facebook.com). Used by Meta to show and measure adverts across websites. Expires after 90 days.

Google and Meta also use this data for their own purposes under their own policies. How Google uses it: business.safety.google/privacy. Meta’s privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.

Managing cookies

You can change your choice at any time. Press the button below and the cookie banner will appear again; from then on, nothing more is sent to Google or Meta unless you accept again.

You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block our strictly-necessary cookies, parts of the dashboard may stop working.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page if the cookies we use change. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent change.
